Pullman Tamper BigStep | Acetal

Discover the Pullman BigStep, your perfect companion for ultimate tamping experiences. Here are the highlights that make it a favorite of professional baristas worldwide:

• Patented precision:
• The BigStep offers unsurpassed fit thanks to its patented step with a diameter of 58.55 mm and minimal tolerances of +/- 0.02 mm.
• Precisely tailored to the Pullman precision sieves, the BigStep prevents any channeling from the start.

• Even puck:
• The patented step allows for maximum surface coverage, creating an extremely even puck that is optimally compressed even at the edges of the screen.
• The result is a puck without vacuum formation when lifting after tamping.

• High-quality materials:
• Made from extremely high-quality 440C stainless steel, the BigStep ensures freedom from wear and the best material properties.

• Danger:
• Note that Pullman cannot control the variety of internal diameters on third-party precision screens. For optimal results, we recommend using Pullman Filtration Baskets, which are perfectly adapted to the BigStep base and checked by hand.

• Pullman Barista Handle Acetal:
• Acetal is an elastic, impact-resistant and break-resistant material. Due to its outstanding material properties, it is used as a knock insert in our powder-coated barista handles.
• A full acetal handle makes it particularly suitable for baristas who knock the portafilter with the side of the handle rather than the top.
• The surface has been hand bead blasted to create a semi-soft tactile feel with a visually similar effect to the rubber in the base.
• Acetal is warm to the touch and lighter than aluminum . It offers the tactile benefits of hardwood (warm to the touch) combined with the strength and durability of aluminum.

• These properties make it the ideal tool for tough everyday coffee bar life.

• Spacer for individual adjustment:
• The 5 mm spacer is already installed.
• In addition, the spacers 2 mm & 8 mm in aluminum are included to enable individual adjustment to the anatomy of your hand.
